Dr. Melissa Soares graduated in 1995, as an MD Physician, from Rostov-on-Don, Russia. After completing her internship in India, she worked in New Zealand for 4 years. Later, she worked at Warragul Hospital for 5 years and completed her General Practitioner Training in Obstetrics in 2009. She also worked as a GP at Clinics in Narre Warren and Dandenong. Since 2014, Dr. Soares has been working at North Blackburn Square Medical Clinic. She has a special interest in Women’s Health and Shared Obstetric Care. She also holds a Diploma in Children’s Health (DCH).
Melissa is fluent in English, Russian, Hindi, Marathi and Urdu. She is married with two children.
Dr. Hasanthi Tennakoon is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and has an additional qualification in the Diploma of Child Health (DCH). She has been working in Australia as a doctor for nearly a decade now. She underwent general practice registrar training in Shepparton and regional Victoria and has previously worked at the Austin and Northern Hospitals.
Dr Hasanthi specialises in General, Geriatric Medicine, Women’s and Children’s Health, and Chronic Diseases. She can also perform minor procedures such as Implanon insertion/removal, Mirena removal, and wound suturing. She also teaches medical students from Monash University.
Dr Shifra Naderi arrived in Australia in 2014. She has been practicing in General Practice since 2010. Dr Naderi’s background is Persian and her qualifications include Doctor of medicine from Tehran University of Medical Science. Dr Naderi has completed her Fellowship in Australia in 2018.
Dr Naderi’s Interest is paediatrics, Gynaecology, mental health counselling, travel advices, and chronic diseases care.
Dr. Kim Lee graduated from Adelaide University and holds a Professional Diploma in Skin Cancer medicine.
She has also earned an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine. Along with having a special interest in Women’s Health and participating in the Obstetric Shared Care Program, Dr. Lee is also fluent in Mandarin.
She also has special interest in Children and Young Adult health care issues, Skin Cancer Checks, Biopsy, Excisions, Geriatrics, Chronic Condition, Sexual and Reproductive Health problems.
